We’re working with a well-established and recognised brand to recruit an IT Support Technician to join their collaborative IT team, providing remote and hands-on technical support. This is a Norwich-based role with occasional travel to other local offices as required.

- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across hardware, software, and networks
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a Windows desktop environment
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system administration tasks
- Support wider IT projects and assist with new equipment rollouts
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
Desired experience
- Ideally some previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Knowledge of Windows desktop troubleshooting
- Understanding of networking (LAN) fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with hardware, printers, and multifunction devices
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification

- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Confident, approachable, and a team player
- Organised and able to manage your own workload effectively
- Enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail

This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week on site in Central London.
The Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust on-premise infrastructure, with a roadmap to selective cloud adoption. You will be responsible for server builds, automation, containerisation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless operations and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Premise Infrastructure – Install, configure, and maintain production/UAT servers (Windows/Linux).
Cloud Expansion – Support cloud provisioning (Azure) while ensuring seamless integration with existing on-prem infrastructure.
Automation & CI/CD – Enhance deployment and release processes with CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab, GitLab Runner).
Containerisation – Manage Docker environments and orchestration (Docker Swarm/Kubernetes).
Monitoring & Incident Management – Implement proactive monitoring solutions for critical infrastructure (Node, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, SQL Server).
Change & Problem Management – Follow change control procedures, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and document solutions.
Skills & Experience Required:
Must-have:
Proven experience in Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration, or DevOps.
Hands-on experience with server installation, maintenance, and monitoring.
Strong expertise in Windows/Linux systems and networking concepts.
Knowledge of Git, Node.js, and GitLab Runner.
Experience with containerisation (Docker, Docker Swarm/Kubernetes).
Nice-to-have:
