We’re looking for experienced IT Support professionals, to join our fast-growing client based in Colchester. The role is on site full time.
Over the last 2 years the company has doubled in size and continues to grow, due to securing large household names as their clients, both in the UK, and Internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Offer 1st and 2nd Line technical support via phone, email, or in-person on Windows and Mac equipment.
- Set up and configure hardware and software.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security.
- Collaborate with the helpdesk team to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in IT project implementation, such as system upgrades and migrations.
- Conduct system audits and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection policies.
Desired Skills:
- Previous Helpdesk/Support experience.
- Strong understanding of Office 365 and G Suite.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft are beneficial

Proficiency in CI/CD automation, Git version control, and GitLab Runner pipelines.
Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm).
Experience in server and application monitoring, with exposure to Node.js, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.

About the Role

Your day-to-day will include:
Programming and tweaking control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.

About You

Knowledge of servo drives, VFDs, and industrial networks like Ethernet or Profibus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical schematics.
Bonus points if you’ve worked with robotics (especially 6-axis systems).

Educated within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
