About the Role
As a Controls Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the commissioning, optimisation, and improvement of advanced automated systems. You’ll work closely with a team of skilled engineers to deliver creative, practical solutions that meet unique customer needs.
Your day-to-day will include:
Programming and tweaking control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.
Troubleshooting and fine-tuning mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnosing faults and performing operational assessments to keep things running smoothly.
Finding opportunities to improve systems and making recommendations to the team.
Testing and documenting results to ensure future progress and innovation.

About You
We’re looking for someone who loves a challenge and thrives in a hands-on, technical environment. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Solid experience with PLC programming and HMI software (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar).
Knowledge of servo drives, VFDs, and industrial networks like Ethernet or Profibus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical schematics.
Bonus points if you’ve worked with robotics (especially 6-axis systems).
Great communication skills and a proactive, team-focused mindset.
Educated within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
